15 STEPS ON MAKING A RETURN
GENIE AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING, INC.

1. YOU FIRST COME IN AND SPEND ROUND 10 MINUTES (OR MORE) DECIDING WHICH UNIT TO USE.
2. WE USUALLY HAVE TWO PEOPLE PULLING THE UNIT(s) YOU WANT.
3. WE THEN ENTER THE SERIAL NUMBER(s) INTO OUR SYSTEM.
4. IF YOU ARE PAYING BY CHECK/CREDIT CARD, IT TAKES MORE TIME TO VERIFY EVERYTHING.
5. WE THEN HAVE THE UNIT(s) CHECKED BY OUR CHECK-OUT PERSON AT THE DOOR.
6. WE THEN HAVE ONE OR TWO OF OUR EMPLOYEES TAKE THE UNIT(s) OUT TO YOUR TRUCK/CAR TO LOAD YOU UP.
7. THEN YOU COME BACK AND SAY YOU GOT THE WRONG UNIT. (REMEMBER THAT YOU GAVE US THE INFORMATION)
8. THEN WE SPEND ANOTHER 10, 15, 20 MINUTES AGAIN TO FIGURE OUT WHAT UNIT YOU NEED (THE REASON WE ASK YOU SO MANY QUESTIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE).
9. THEN WE (AGAIN) HAVE TO PULL YOUR UNIT(s), WITH TWO OR MORE EMPLOYEES.
10. AGAIN WE HAVE TO ENTER THE SERIAL NUMBERS.
11. AGAIN, IF YOU ARE PAYING BY CHECK/CREDIT CARD, IT WILL TAKE EXTRA TIME TO VERIFY.
12. TTHEN WE HAVE TO DRAG THE UNIT(s) AGAIN TO YOUR TRUCK/CAR AND LOAD YOU UP. IT MAY BE OVER 119 DEGREES OUTSIDE (BUT YOU PROBABLY DON’T CARE IF YOU ARE READING THIS).
13. NOW THE REAL CHARGE HITS GENIE WHEN SOME OF THE MANUFACTURERS CHARGE US 15% TO REVERSE THE SERIAL NUMBERS.
14. AFTER THE UNITS ARE BROUGHT BACK, WE HAVE TO OPEN THE BOX TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE A/C UNITS IN THE BOX IN NEW CONDITION, NOT BRICKS.
15. AFTER OPENING THE BOX, WE USUALLY HAVE TO SELL THE UNIT AS USED, AND SOMETIMES THE BOXES THEMSELVES ARE TORN UP WHEN THEY ARE BROUGHT BACK.
16. NOW SEE ALL THE WORK THAT YOU CAUSED US, AND YOU DON’T THINK WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE YOU!
